HOW TO GET TO CASABAKAL
CASABAKAL has a privileged location, with one of the best entrances to the lagoon, and only minutes away from Bacalar’s downtown. DIRECTIONS
CASABAKAL is located approximately four hours away (by car) from the Cancún International Airport (CUN), and 30 minutes away (by car) from the Chetumal International Airport (CTM).
The alternatives to arrive from the Chetumal International Airport (CTM) are: Take a taxi right outside the airport (it can be a shared or private taxi).
Another option would be to rent a car; there are multiple leasing companies inside the airport.
Or we can schedule a private transport, safe and trustworthy.

THE WEATHER
Throughout the year, temperatures at Bacalar vary from 17ºC (62ºF) to 33ºC (91ºF). In rare occasions it can get bellow 12ºC (53ºF) or rises above the 35ºC (95ºF). There are three seasons at Bacalar; warm, cool, and rain. Take this into consideration to plan ahead for your trip.
WARM SEASON: This season is considered between the months of April and June, with an average maximum temperature of 32ºC (90ºF) or more.
COOL SEASON: This season is considered between the months of November and February, with an average maximum temperature of 29ºC (84ºF).
RAIN SEASON: This season is considered between the months of June and November, this is the time for most rain at this region, regularly the rain do not last for a long time, although they can be very intense. The time of this rainy season brings the opportunity to appreciate the nature, the tranquility, and the ecosystem.
